The Optical Positioning Sensor (OPS) encoder system is ideal for applications where total cost of ownership is a design priority yet advanced encoder system performance is required. OPS features advanced encoder technology in multiple mounting configurations. Optical limits can be configured to reduce wiring, footprint, and system complexity. OPS works with with MicroE’s PurePrecision™ linear tape scales and a wide range of linear and rotary glass scales to achieve the right price-performance needed in your application.

MTE Series Encoders
Performance and Value Compact Linear Encoder
The Micro Tape Encoder (MTE) is an energy efficient linear encoder that installs quickly without any alignment tools.  The miniature sensor can be top mounted or side mounted.  Compact tape scales (6mm wide) install quickly and are available with factory-encoded optical index.  Tape scales are easily cut-to-length in the field and can be ordered in customer-specified lengths up to 30m.
